March 2018 – The Month of Women and Mother Earth

Posted on

Happy Full Moon Friends! Its again a blue moon today, the second full moon of this month. In some North American tribes this moon is called the Full Worm moon, and we Finns call March “maaliskuu”, which comes from “maan kuu”, the Month of the Earth. Here in the Nordic hemisphere, Mother Earth is uncovering herself bit by bit from the frost and snow blanket, and finally, after a long winter, She becomes visible again.

Today is a good day to show your gratitude towards Mother Earth, lit a candle or even better, a bonfire, and to have a sauna with your girlfriend. See the video to understand more why we celebrate today Mother Earth and women in general!

I will call this year “The Year of the Moon”, and I invite you to follow, and share my experiences, learnings and practices. I hope, at the end of the year, I have learned more about myself, the rhythm of the nature, and understood a universal truth or two about the cycles of life.

I will use my knowledge as storyteller, coach, and as a student of Finnish shamanistic practices and nature wisdom to guide us to a deeper and more meaningful year. You are welcome to use the tools I share, or just follow my story.

Hugs,

Reetta
